As part of the project-based learning program, all BK1 students participated in various competitions during the 2025–2026 school year. These included the State Legislature competition, “Jugend forscht,” “Umbruchzeiten,” and the AI Fair-Image Challenge. More than one-third of the students won a prize. In total, approximately 500 euros in prize money went to the BK students! Special mention goes to Selina Spiegel and Jasmin Müller, who won the AI Fair-Image Challenge with their song “Wir sind Echt.”
Jury’s assessment: “WIR SIND ECHT” stands out with its clear, positive message of respect and belonging, without coming across as preachy. The song gives a voice to diversity, boosts self-esteem, and resonates with the lives of young people. Particularly strong are the catchy hook (“Wir sind echt”), which serves as a unifying motto, and the consistently empowering underlying message: Dignity is non-negotiable—everyone is enough. Overall, the song combines catchy appeal with social value and is ideal as a guiding theme for schools, social media, and project days focused on diversity and cohesion.
