Accessibility Statement

Contents

The Bad Mergentheim Business School strives to make its website accessible in accordance with Section 10(1) of the State Law on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (L-BGG) and Directive (EU) 2016/2102. The benchmark is the requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 in conjunction with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

This statement applies to the website www.ks-mergentheim.de and www.ksmgh.de

1. Compliance status

This website is partially consistent with Section 10(1) of the L-BGG, subject to the exceptions listed below.

2. Non-accessible content

a) Non-compliance with Section 10 (1) L-BGG

  • PDF and Office documents: Some of the documents available for download are not accessible—for example, they lack structure, alternative text, or a defined reading order; in the vocational school registration form, the form fields are not labeled. The documents are being revised gradually, with priority given to those related to registration and student admission. Upon request, we will provide you with the content in an accessible format.
  • Podcast: There is no transcript yet for the podcast episode “Pilotenfolge” in the news item “NEU: Der KSM Podcast!” (in German). On request, we will send you the content as text.
  • Video for the VR Project: The video in the article “Vocational Training in the Digital Age” does not have audio description. It contains only background music and no spoken dialogue; the on-screen text and visual content are described in text form directly below the video. Adding audio description retroactively would be disproportionately time-consuming for this short film.

b) Content outside the scope

  • Documents published before 23 September 2018 that are not required for active administrative procedures.
  • Third-party content that the school neither funds nor develops and that is not under its control – for example, the embedded Spotify player in the podcast news item.

3. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 27 March 2025 and completely revised on 8 October 2026.  It is based on a self-assessment in accordance with Section 4 (2) No. 1 of the L-BGG implementing
regulation (L-BGG-DVO), drawing on a review of all pages of the website in October 2026.
